CES was formerly known as the International Consumer Electronics Show. It is owned and produced by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) that represents the $292 billion consumer technology industry in the U.S. As such, the show attracts important players and stakeholders from around the world.

CES annually showcases more than 3,900 exhibiting companies. These companies include developers, manufacturers, and suppliers of consumer technology hardware, technology delivery systems, and more. CES sponsors more than 300 conference sessions that draw more than 170 thousand attendees from 150 countries.
